Jason M. Salinardi graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2000 with his B.S. and Master’s in Accountancy, from the University of Missouri-Columbia Law School in 2003, and from the University of Missouri-Kansas City Law School with an LL.M. in Taxation in 2004.   Jason was admitted to the Missouri State Bar in 2003. Jason has been practicing law in the area of estate planning and taxation since 2004 and is a member of the American Bar Association’s Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section.  Jason came to the Kansas City area after working in St. Louis for a number of years with two highly-respected law firms.

Jason is a co-founder of BridgeBuilder.  Jason knows all about the unexpected.  On September 11, 2001, Jason lost a brother in the terrorist attacks in New York City.  After experiencing and witnessing the toll taken on a family when the unexpected happens, Jason wanted to create a practice that helps families plan for the unexpected so that their loved ones can grieve without any unnecessary hassle or burden.  Jason wanted to create a practice where he is there for families when they need him the most.  Jason prides himself on being a counseling-oriented attorney who creates estate plans designed to meet the specific goals of his clients.  Jason also prides himself on his ability to truly listen to his clients and to translate their vision into estate plans that meet their desires and expectations.  Jason serves on the Planned Giving Council of Children’s Mercy Hospital.  As the father of a young daughter, Jason is intimately aware of the challenges facing parents when making decisions involving their family’s future.  Jason resides in Leawood, Kansas with his wife Molly and their daughter Anna.

Garrett L.  Griffin is a third generation attorney and co-founder of BridgeBuilder.  Garrett has always been aware of the personal sacrifices and hard work that his parents and grandparents made for his benefit.  Shortly before his grandfather’s death in 2008, Garrett was introduced to a poem called “The Bridge Builder” by Will Allen Dromgoole.  The words resonated and left a lasting impression on him.  Garrett knew the meaning of the poem reflected the bridges that his father and grandfather had built for him.  He was convinced that the “The Bridge Builder” could be the inspiration for the creation of an estate planning practice that would guide families from generation to generation, helping each to build a bridge to the next.

Garrett received his B.S. in Business Administration from William Jewell College in 1998 and graduated from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Law in 2001.  Garrett went on to receive his LL.M. (Master of Law in Taxation) from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Law in 2005.  Garrett serves on the Planned Giving Council of Children’s Mercy Hospital.  Garrett is admitted to practice in Missouri, Kansas and the US Tax Court and since 2001, has primarily focused on counseling clients with diverse estate planning needs by preparing all levels of planning. Garrett has the ability to relate to his clients and really understand their concerns and objectives.  This allows him to accurately tailor sensible plans to address the client’s financial assets while reflecting their most valuable assets, their values, insights, stories and experiences.

Garrett is the delighted father of two young sons and uses his experiences to be responsive to families’ worries and sensitive to their state of affairs.  Garrett understands that life throws obstacles at all of us and values helping families to make decisions that avoid them.  Originally from Cameron, Missouri, Garrett resides in the Liberty area with his wife Mindi and their two sons, Gavin and Beckett.   He looks forward to building a bridge for them.
